I have this farty trainer

So my left hand trainer (sneaker, to you American types) has developed a little farty sound. Every time I round a corner on that foot out comes a wee Pffffft!
I suspect I could fix it by tying up my laces a little tighter but I’ve started taking a perverse pleasure in letting people think I just let off a little guff as I leave the room.
What has my life come to?
